Compassion Beyond Borders is just beginning a health education project for women and children in five villages of eastern Uganda. The Executive Director will be visiting the project this coming August, after which more documentation will be available.
CBB's partner in this project is Missionary Sisters Queen of the Apostles, an order founded in India that provides education and health care to the poorest of the poor. Compassion Beyond Borders is funding the health education portion of this project, while our partner is responsible for the health care that is also being provided. CBB expects this project, which will focus especially on teen-aged girls, to grow to include as many as ten villages and 20,000 people.
