Health education
Compassion Beyond Borders is beginning a health education project for women and children in four rural villages of eastern Uganda. CBB's partner in this project is Missionary Sisters Queen of the Apostles, a Catholic order founded in India that provides education and health care to the poorest of the poor around the world.
CBB is funding the health education portion of this project, while the Sisters are supporting a health care program that is being jointly provided. This project is planned to grow to include ten villages, with the health education portion of the project focusing especially on teen-aged girls.
